As of the 14th February players who group a low-level player with a high-level friend, or used my "Method Zero" technique on a single account, are experiencing drastically less experience.

It is worth pointing out that this is still viable. I was getting 1/6th of a level per run at 43, mob kills have been nerfed but dungeon completion has not. Not fantastic but generally faster than levelling using traditional methods, with instance lockout being a problem.

Nonetheless I'm looking for alternatives.

A partial workaround is to use a healing class such as a Mistweaver Monk. These classes can heal the player through any damage allowing the player to tank any amount of mobs.

 The low-level can player can

1)  join a group with the high-level player

2) enter a dungeon together, then leave the group.

3)  A window will pop up saying that the low-level player will be removed in one minute.

4) Hi-level player aggros mobs without attacking them, puts down healing statue. The mobs will then cluster around the hi-level player attacking them.

5)  Low-level player receives healing and kill as many mobs as possible.

6) When the minute is about to expire, rejoin group.

7) Repeat.

Of course the low-level player does dramatically less damage to mobs in the dungeon than a high-level player would. There is partial compensation in that they are receiving full experience. Additionally instance lockout becomes much less of a problem. With this method there is a significant increase in time to gain the same xp relative to pre-nerf grouping, but if you consider the "dead time" of instance lockout there isn't that much change.
