The following technique, only useable in battlegrounds, is unique in that it exploits a fundamental mechanism of battlegrounds, and as such is likely to provide the player with a permanent advantage unlike the vast majority of exploits. It could be used without any restriction in RBG for example - unlike any other RBG exploit I've ever heard of.

A youtube viewer, Scott Glenfield told me about a way to manipulate the battleground resurrection timer.  Scott has reverse-engineered the timer and discovered that it works at 32 second intervals.

So, reading between the lines, you would use the /timer command at the start of the bg.  If you die at 32 seconds exactly, allowing for a couple of seconds of release and click the resurection button, you will resurrect instantly. A second later you will be inactive for over half a minute.

To take advantage of this you would use the /timer command at the start of the bg to have an awareness when you are approaching an "instant rez" interval. You make quite different strategic choices about when to employ defensive cooldowns etc and have a significant advantage over an otherwise identical player.

Obviously exactly when you die and how much downtime you experience has a major effect on your dps/healing and the overall success of the team.
