Some random exploits:
Free Versatility Buff
During some experiments with follower dungeons, I found something interesting. If you enter a follower dungeon and leave at the exact moment the "Mark of the Wild" buff spell is cast, you can take the buff out of the dungeon. Normally, the buff disappears when you leave the dungeon.
This is somewhat useful to increase your player power, but I'm also posting this to give patrons an opportunity to discover ways to keep buffs from instances using the same timing attack. It seems very likely this isn't the only buff that can be kept this way. I'm testing lots of things as I write this.
Eye of the Storm Battleground Exploit
From the WoW bug report, an amazing little trick is being used in the Eye of the Storm battleground:
Blizzard Forum: Fixable Exploit for Eye of the Storm That Happens in High-Rated BGs
This is an unusually excellent write-up. To summarize: it is possible to use a tiny rocky outcrop to extend a jump at great speed from the starting areas to bases on the other side of the map in seconds.
The player can then attack the enemy team's nearest bases, and by using defensive cooldowns, can prevent them from capping quickly. This is usually enough by itself to win any game between two reasonably balanced teams.
Immunity to Knockback
Some toys allow player immunity to knockback. This can be very useful for avoiding certain PvE mechanics or certain PvP situations—especially PvE effects in PvP.
Generally speaking, toys must be pre-cast outside of combat, do not allow movement, and may have further limitations. Knockback immunity usually breaks after combat is established.
The idea here is to cast the toy before a large blast of knockback. You must either not be in combat or have some way of getting out of combat, activate the toy, resist the knockback, and deactivate the toy.
The best ones are:
Personal Shell - Once cast, this allows complete freedom to cast spells and prevents any kind of knockback.
Dazzling Rod - This one has a fast cast time and a vehicle UI, though spells can be cast with the UI up via macro or even spellbook.
Darkmoon Ring-Flinger - Short cast time and the effect lasts only a second or two, which makes it very desirable for gaining immunity to certain things. (Thanks to Lord Slaain for telling me about this one).
Ancient's Bloom - Cannot cast in this form but offers complete immunity to knockback.
Compendium of Love - Short duration, cannot cast.
Cursed Orb - 20-second duration, cannot cast, visible buff which can be canceled manually or with a macro.
