I'm stressed out as hell while trying to tidy up my work and my life, so here's a little General Maintenance update to sort out some of my responsibilities!

1. Zines/Comics Festivals: if you ordered any of my new zines earlier this Summer, right now they are either already shipped to you (and you should expect e-mail with your tracking # today/tomorrow), or will be shipped to you in 2-3 weeks from now. I'm also thinking about reprinting the two recent books (because of course I've underestimated how well they will be selling - as I always do; although Star Wars one is still available!), as well as printing some new ones... But with comics festival season coming to Belgrade, and me actually needing to participate in promotion of my very first Serbian language release - a thing that's happening! - I feel that maybe some of my self-publishing ambitions will have to wait until Winter.

2. Commissions: this Summer I was really hoping to deal with most of my current commissions list, but a bunch of life happened to us this month, so commissions process stalled. Still, I can see the end of the list from where I'm currently at, and if you're closing on a year of waiting (in which case, I can't praise enough your patience T__T) - you should know that your commissions is very close to being done!

3. Commissions II: still, money is an eternal concern, so if you're interested in getting a new commission from me - preferably anything from the list, because it gives you a nice discount - I'd greatly appreciate it. Let's get this Hellboy series finished! Let's get me to draw more Tokusatsu, or movie posters!

4. Life Happening: recently both me and my wife had to change our work laptops - Katia needed to buy herself new and kinda insanely expensive laptop that would be adequate for her more and more complex 3D animation projects (because some people in this household actually have real careers with growth and raising stakes!), and then I switched from my old laptop to her old laptop, because i5 is still better that i7, even when they're both 5 years old!  So for the last two weeks, I've been kinda just chugging away at my work files and comics/movies collection, clean out the old shit I don't really need anyone, and then bring it all to a new order and move from one machine to another with the help of my Dropbox and hellishly slow Serbian internet. A process that is equally frustrating and satisfying, putting me into almost meditative state sometimes, and sometimes making me want to claw out my own eyes.

5. Moneys: this year I've been doing a lot of work to promote and expand my print shop, and it's been paying out nicely, with lots of sales and lots of buzz around my new prints. Unfortunately, INPRNT is a terrible fucking company that dabbled in some crypto dogshit earlier last year and is now in complete shambles, with my artist friends reporting 1-3 months long delays in payouts. I am currently a month late to receive my own most recent payout, and learning a lessons that you should never financially rely on any aggregators, because until the very moment you get the money, the money just isn't real. So, if you want to help me out, there are some originals I can sell you, too (on top of mentioned special commissions list).

6. First Knife II: another Summer plan that I kinda half-blew was working on more Knife. I actually made a good bunch of pencils for a couple of scenes, and I probably should've shared some of them here, but my brain is too tunnel-visioned and defaults "process post" only to "inking post", so - with no inked pencils, there were next to zero new $3+ posts T___T. I'm very sorry about it, and later next month I'm planning to post something interesting from that department!

7. Life Happening II/Comics festivals II: this Thursday we're making another attempt to get some rest and go to Montenegro - this time for my beloved HSF to meet some of my old European friends - and, hopefully, make some new ones, too. If my any chance you will me anywhere around Herzeg Novi at the time, please contact me!

...Aaand I think that's it? Don't wanna really go into mental health stuff now when I see how many things I need to do - or successfully done already, for a change! - so we'll leave it at that.

As always, thank you for bearing with me.

Take care of yourself, my man. Hope you're relaxing in the Montenegrin sun (or rain, I dunno, I'm not checking the weather forecast)

I know exactly what you mean about sorting out your collection...infuriating but incredibly satisfying. Hope the 'new' laptop serves you well! Thanks for the updates.
