Knifin' and Divin' (Patreon)

I'm slowly inking this tricky underwater scene, and last night I was pleased to get the results on this particular panel, specifically how the water surface and light ended up looking. Still, I was anxious to see how it works with screentones, so I went and quickly added rough tones to the photo above, without even scanning the page:

The final look of the book still greatly depends on a million different circumstances and decisions sometime in the far, far future, but the more I think about platonic ideal on the book, the more I like the idea of manga tankobon format - with smashing opening pages in color, and then most of the book being in BW (ciao, Linnea!)
