SW zine: Han Solo (Patreon)

Looking sharp, king!

I was actually really struggling with this one for a while, trying to balance out a tiny bit of Harrison Ford likeness with more of an abstract comics-y design for Han Solo himself, as I would've like to draw him if I was working on a SW comic or cartoon. Because I really hate likenesses in comics - most of the time - and on top of that, Ford is not really a type of face you would have much fun putting down on paper (unlike someone like, say, Forest Wittaker, my god).

But then in the little corner of the sheet I just scribbled a very tiny face for a Solo-type guy, fully stylized - and it finally clicked exactly how I wanted it!

And when all is said and done... I think my drawing actually does capture a little fraction of that early Ford, eh?
