Knives Up - Coloring! (Patreon)

These are not actual colors! These are mere mock-ups, done by yours truly to pass the pages to our dear colorist, Jason Wordie, without needing to write long and excruciating e-mail explaining what exactly I was trying to relate with the ways the map, or the hand, or the seagulls are drawn. In a sense, every time I do it, I see my basic coloring (be in tones, monochrome, or limited palette)  as an extension to the lineart - give you more information on the shape, the texture, the depth, the tone. Actual colors? I barely know anything about them, so it's a job for real professionals!

Although I gotta admit - the hand on the first page already looks pretty bossing ^___^
