An another lad, this lime slightly smaller unit.

Story behind the second version of this piece is simple: I had an A4 printout of the pencils which got printed by mistake and which I just used it to try on my grey markers. But after finishing inking the "proper" big version I became curious if a smaller take on the sketch could work differently, possibly helping me to get rid of some stiffness that I felt in the previous process.

In my observation, the smaller paper format allowed for a bit more control over the piece ; but then again -  giving second iteration to almost anything will most likely make it more thoughtful and controlled. Most of the times I just naturally have a "hunch" for what paper size is gonna fit my drawing (or my comic page) better, but this is one of these rare cases where I'm not of the same mind even after finishing both drawings.

(And yes, I'm perfectly aware that these two Godzillas are like a version of "they're the same picture" meme. More that anything, they're just a question of my own comfort and my little idiosyncratic tendencies in art).

Here are both lads, side by side, if you're really curious. Small version is for sale, too!

Initially I really wanted to include a Baby Shin Goji into this piece, but decided to leave him for later, and dedicate him a proper separate piece <3
