The amount of double page spreads I've made throughout my entire "career" could be counted on one hand's fingers, so each of them has special significance to me. And this one, being also the opening for the book I've been dying to draw for at least a year (closer to two years, probably)... The amount of responsibility I felt was pretty high - and phew, what I feel now is a great amount of content.

Maybe sometime later  I'll show you pencils for the multiple drafts of this opening sequence, with and without double pagers!
