Well, a year or so later, I am done with the biggest chunk of my work for Cantata - most of the character portraits for campaign dialogues, as well as unit portraits for all in-game's faction (some of them were seen previously here and here). And I must admit - as someone who usually hates color work, I find coloring process with this particular project enamoring and immensely satisfying, making it my favorite part of the job (other than the complete creative freedom I have on the project itself :D). This probably has something to do with the vibrant and almost mosaic look of the drawings, where additional layers of image basically continue my current rendering methods from BW inking into full color. 

Also, the color work is definitely less dreadful when you can tackle it in small chunks and singular pieces instead of monthly comicbooks.
