A videogame key art (pt. II) - inking (Patreon)

You've been seeing snippets of the process throughout the last week, but now here it is, in full messy glory!

Naturally, this piece was done almost completely in digital, mainly because of the layering issues and sheer complexity of it. I'm getting more and more used to ClipStudio, even enamoured by it - terrific brushes, incredible screentone capacities, and the interface is so streamlined and tingly placed that I don't even need to memorize any new hotkeys! Completely in awe, and even thinking about buying a new graphic tablet  - my Intuos was as old as my previous version of MangaStudio, and after years and year of not caring for any sort of Cintiqs,  something like XP-Pen Artist 12 Pro all of a sudden look very tempting.

We'll see how my summer budget works, I guess!
