Hey everyone!
Now that the physical deliverables are set for shipping out soon, it's time to shift focus to the Technical Alpha website build!
I posted here a while ago to see what community members may have the skills/time to want to help out with this project so let me outline what's going down.
We have two avenues. The first avenue is we use Wordpress as a basis for the work as I (Adam) will need to be able to make small changes to the site when necessary and Wordpress conveniently has a back end in place. The second avenue is that we have enough of you who are versed in similar languages and we build out a custom back end like we did with lag.tv all those years ago.
Depending on the level of interest, I can come up with a list of functionality for the site based on which back end we'll be going with. Regardless of how we build the site out, Tabin will be helping me in a big way by vetting and spearheading a Github for this process so things can be done in as organized a way as possible.
So if you're interested in volunteering your time for this project, let me know in the comments below with your skill set and experience level and we'll go from there!
Thanks, everyone!
Adam
