Here's an early Patron version of my next video! It's about Oliver Anthony and his song "Rich Men North of Richmond"- but it's also not REALLY about those things. You'll see. Featuring my new "GOBLINIFICATION" art style, let me know what you think of it. I like it so far? It's cute and it helped me do less thinking in the drawing process which can sometimes hold me back.

Finishing this essay was a real race against time to get it done while he was still relevant, a race which I may not have won haha but it was an interesting experiment. I've gotten some ideas from this one as to how to make my videos more streamlined in the future, so look forward to seeing the many creative ways I find to cut corners!

This is a good one. TBH I'd be a little reluctant to share it as some of the fat jokes cross the line of parody for me. I'm sure that's something you thought about, though. I love the new art choices! I'm looking forward to all the familiar faces that will be goblinified in future videos. Up the Wobblies! Solidarity forever!

Oh btw, since this is a video about music and unions and has the IWW in it, I thought you might mention the Little Red Song Book.

That's totally understandable! I was a bit worried about the fat jokes in the beginning too, hopefully it's clear that I'm making fun of Oliver Anthony's weird fatphobia and not actual fat people who I think are great. I shared just that clip on twitter and although nobody seemed offended by the fat jokes, I did get brigaded by a bunch of MAGA Communists (apparently an actual thing???) who called me anti-working class. Sometimes there's no way to predict what is going to upset people haha
