I just barely managed to get this video up today, relieved to have it done!

I had a lot of fun writing/ recording/ animating/ editing this video, even though it was way more work than I should have realistically bit off for a month. The video is ostensibly about Michael Malice, some IDW adjacent chud who calls himself an anarchist, but I really went off on some wild tangents. More than halfway through there's a Kropotkin-themed game show that has little/nothing to do with Michael Malice LOL. If I didn't just get my ADHD diagnosis I could submit the script for this and get a lifetime prescription for aderrall...

Going to hold off on making this public until tomorrow at noon to maximize enagement and algorithm stuff- But there's no point hiding this away from my Cool Ghouls! Give her a watch, let me know what you think.

The video is delightful. I came back to watch it again today - I've vibed with anarchism for a minute, but I haven't done enough reading to assertively say I am an anarchist. To that point - isn't everyone against "unjust" hierarchy? Which political ideology proudly says "yes, we support unjust things?" Maybe Jordan Peterson acolytes? Aside from them, don't most people who support hierarchies believe that those hierarchies are justified?

That's a really astute observation haha- a lot of anarchists called me out for the "unjust hiearachy" phrasing, rightfully so. Making it about abolishing only "unjust" hierarchies and not ALL hierarchies is watering the definition of anarchism down quite a bit. Even fascists believe their racial hierarchies are "justified" so they could be included in anarchism by this metric, pretty good sign that it needs some reworking. I got the phrase from Noam Chomsky, who was using it in effect to say that anarchists are still in favour of hierarchies like a parent using force to prevent a child from running out into a busy road. The response to that from anarchists I've seen is to say there's a difference between hierarchy and authority. Andrewism has a video on this exact subject: https://youtu.be/iqosSdnZnsU AnRel has a good video on hierarchy too, shouted this one out in my Lovecraft video: https://youtu.be/yANLp_dw1wI

Dope!!! You really notice all the effort that was behind the video. The rant about anarcho-capitalism was really on point - really makes it obvious that anarcho-capitalism is just an edgy way to describe monarchy. Who would've thought that we have aristowehaboos talking on Joe Rogan haha

ChillGoblin

That Joe Rogan interview is something else. At first Joe pushes back on the idea of privatizing police but eventually he completely agrees with him, then Joe comes with an even wilder take that "My biggest problem with the cops is that they don't hire more ex-military guys"
