Picture I drew of Canada’s first Prime Minister and Genocider-in-Chief John A Macdonald in hell. Tried to make his wings and the fire on the mountain look like a maple leaf!

Recently Canada has been coming to terms with its genocidal history in a way that, though incomplete, we really haven’t before. Statues of this piece of shit are being torn down all over the country which makes me very happy. Lots of Canadian chuds are of course doing the predictable “they’re destroying our history” routine. Maybe this design could be made into a replacement statue, everybody wins!

I originally drew this guy months ago as a character design for a cartoon show some friends of mine, Dan Curtis Thompson and Daniel Williston, were pitching to Netflix. They did some rewrites and to my dismay they decided to cut out evil John A. Macdonald, but I still wanted to use him for something so I drew up the hell background just in time for Canada Day.
