It's that time ! To vote. You know it. If I forgot anything, tell me quick and I'l reupload the poll as fast as I can !

Otherwise, let me give you some not-news : I wish I had a page done last week, I feel bad about not having anything to show but as I said, I was ill. But honestly, there's also the fact that I've just been struggling to get anything done since I finished the last 2 comics. I knew I was going to go for Simian Exposure 2  but I've just been unable to start it cos I was never happy with the story and it's been weighing in my mind for a while. Usually I just start the next comics easily but this one is a struggle.

Well, good news there I suppose cos I have the story now. I basically gutted what it used to be because most of the stuff I wanted to fit in there... just doesn't fit at all. So I'll start it soon, for sure now. I know how to make it.


Anwyay, dats it. There'll be a Nehez Yohma page this week for sure.

what sort of things are Larsen and Zee canonically anyway? I mean Larsen is for sure a rodent - rat probably? but what's Zee?

I asked myself the same question once, here's the result(s): Me: I just noticed, haven't seen that before: they both have five fingers, but four toes. Knowing from the answer to an earlier question of mine that Larsen is a mouse, I checked, and now I found that Zee probably is a long-tailed weasel, which fits well both with his colors and the sharp canines sometimes protuding as needles between his closed lips. I wondered about those, too. Nice to know :-) Whether four toes are "anatomically correct" for mice and weasels... you're welcome to find that out on your own (if that's the kind of thing you like to know) ;-) Oh, and weasels use to hunt mice, by the way. RodVonBoche: I guess he could be a weasyl but I don't actually know what specie he is. deep lore! haha. I've seen that pic floating around but didn't know the significance! and I could get behind Zee being a wittle weaselly. He could even be a wingless vampire bat type thing in that original pic - like a gawky little halloween dolly at hot topic.

Glad to hear you settled on a story for Simian Exposure 2. But sorry to hear it took such a struggle to get there. I love that you take our opinions into account on what to draw next, but you don't have to feel trapped by it. We're here to support that wild mind of yours and while artistic freedom can feel overwhelming, so can the prison of trying to meet expectations. You've always seemed the kind of guy to draw what you want, so just reminding you that you don't have to feel trapped into an idea if it's not working for you. You can always backburner it until it seems right.

I might suggest that the next time: Zee completely bleached hiding behind a screen not noting that he is fully visible in a mirror behind him, and Larssen "reacting" to that sight.
