Disintegrity 10 - 38 - 116 remade ! (Patreon)

Despite most of these being rather uninteresting pages where not much happen, they still required some heavy lifting, which sucks, these are the most boring pages to remake. Let's go through the changes !

Page 10 : So the only thing remaining from the old page are the speech and their bubbles. It's otherwise all new. Not much to be said about the first panel except that its contour are less defined than the clear line below zee, separating that first panel from the next. I think it looks a bit better, especially given the changes to the second panel, but I suppose it could also change the flow of time since a clear definite cut between panels gives an impression of silence, in a way.

In a real quantum metaphysics way yaknow just don't think about it it might just be me.

Second panel sees Larsen expanded upon since there's no panel three anymore. I thought the eyes at the bottom were unecessary and looked tacky. The explosion was already moved to the next panel so as to make Larsen's reaction seem less immediate, to make it seem like he needs some time to compute what Zee just dropped. Zee's words are still resonating and amplifying in strength as the pages reaches the bottom but the page also blackens, ready to explode into pink anger (for some reason) as the words sink in.

All in all I think it underlines Larsen's state of mind better than the immediately colorful reaction from the old page ten.

Page 38 : It's not that exciting to describe the changes since that page is nothing but zooms.  The most interesting change is at the bottom left of the page, where Zee's silhouette had to be redone because the characters' profiles are different in the remake. The heads were the biggest reason I wanted to remake that comic, cos they look awful and inconsistent. So even silhouette of heads have to be redone when they're obviously not representative of the character anymore.

Page 116 : Not much to be said for the first two panels, it's mostly the same thing. You can even see that panel two reuses most of the old panel two.

Panel three has some of the old picture remaining but I might have saved some time if I just re-ded it altogether instead of trying to "fix" it, which is not the first time that happens. But anyway, I gave her a more comprehensible smile, I think shewas supposed to smile in the old page but her hair blocked the tip of the lips so it doesn't actually look like a smile, that was stupid of 2016's me, but whatever now it's fixed and it's far more offputting as a result.

But it's Dani so it's fine, it fits.

Last panel is obviously the biggest change in the page (since it occupies most of the page, therefore being big). I don't think Larsen's old face looked bad but it's just not on model anymore and hir hair aren't fluffy enough. So it's redone.

But first I redid it badly. I didn't like Zee's face, it looked off. I thought changing the teeth and chinld would improve it, and it kinda did ! But it also highlighted how different the angle looked from the old page, which changed the dynamic of it all for the worse, it looked a lot stiffer with that second face. So I redid it for the third Zee head you see in the final page.
