Sorry for the lack of updates, I can't even blame it on the move anymore, I've just been playing Sekiro (which is the kind of game I like to take slowly the first time through, even tho it seems like you can speed through all of it in like 3 hours easily)  and taking care of some comish.

But I did do another disintegrity page ! Not the most memorable one I suppose but it did need to be done.

It's also one of those pages where there's really not much to be said about the changes it went through, it's just self explnatorily the same but better. The only point worth noting is that, back then, I had forgotten to show that Zee's tail was wagging in panel 3, which is why he has two tails. It's upposed to imply movement ! But I forgot.

...

Well I forgot again.

I definately like Zee's nod in the last panel, and I'm glad you didn't change it :-)

S'damn good. The combat has more meat than the previous souls game (mostly in terms of defensive options) which makes it feel fresh compared to them, there's generally more to think about at any given time and it can be very frantic, it also looks really cool. That being said, other areas suffer from the comparison with souls game (in fairness, it's not a souls game, but it's hard not to think of them). Exploration is less rewarding. Less replayability. The camera sucks more. I also don't like the setting as much. Still, for what it tries to be : it's great.

Definitely agree about the combat having more depth, as well as the replayability/camera/setting. I really liked the exploration and level design, though, the 3d aspect was fun. Already looking forward to possible DLC.

Perception problem story: In the last panel (Zee nodding) for a long time I saw a rolled up shirt in Zee's hands, assuming he is pulling it off (though this is not consistent with the panels before, where he is already naked in). I was quite surprised when I realised he is holding Larsen's tail. Even now, when I just have a quick look, I still see the "shirt"-missinterpretation. Such things happen to me with RodVonBoche's comics quite often, seeing things that aren't there or seeing other things than the ones there are. Not the picture's fault, though, and it makes things even more interesting for me: much to discover, allways a new detail :-)

I didn't mind the exploration but nothing you'll find will ever feel as exciting as finding a new weapon in Souls games.

Not to mention how irrelevant shortcuts are given the abuncance of checkpoints and the speed at which you move. None of this is inherently bad but the level design is certainly less memorable as a result.

Also, before I understood the nod - did I already mention that I love it? - I saw Zee wearing a headband :-D , wondering where it came from all of a sudden :-) In the older version, that is. It's clearer in this new one.
