Accusing without accusing (Patreon)

I replied with this image to a post on Facebook from an acquaintance of mine from when I did comic cons. We (meaning TJ and I) did a lot of sketches for this guy, drawing his characters in our style. The characters in question were what you’d expect from most superhero comics. Brightly colored spandex, simplified but realistic faces, etc. Lately, I’ve been seeing him doing a lot of commissions in what he’s calling a “Toon Style,” and Winifred couldn’t help but catch a few important similarities. (It was a Toon Style Dracula.)

I’m only half-joking, of course. I posted this with a wink emoji, and told him that I don’t honestly believe I have any claim to round-headed, noseless characters. But that’s the nice thing about having someone like Winifred. She can say these things completely unapologetically.
