I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that Violet Parr's appearance at the end of The Incredibles never sat well with me. It's Ally Sheedy's makeover at the end of Breakfast Club levels of bad. I get that she's gained confidence due to the events of the movie, but I also find it hard to believe that a team of talented artists would put a bubblegum pink shirt on a character with long, jet black hair. It may (kinda) work thematically, but not aesthetically. Here's my take on a "period-appropriate" (the Incredibles' universe appears to be an alternate 1960s) outfit that also looks like something Violet may have actually owned. I hope this is addressed in the sequel. I really don't want her civvies to look like a late-90s Gap ad.
