Hey, anybody remember Castlevania 64? It's a very flawed game with a lot of missed opportunities, but it holds a special place in my heart. I mean, it's the only CV game I've played that's crawling with vampires. I think VAMP status should have been a different way to finish the game rather than a game over. Imagine a CV game where you were a vampire (besides Alucard) and you'd actually have to choose to find a cure or feed to survive. Then when you defeat Dracula, you must decide to sacrifice yourself to end the curse, or succeed his dark throne! I think I enjoy CV64 for what I want it to be more than what it is. But oh well.
