The star of 2015’s The Librarian’s New Sweater, Margaret! I’ve been thinking about her lately. Sure it had something to do with the recent week of cursed clothing. I’ve wanted to do a follow-up for a long time, but never had a good enough idea for a story. The original was a fun, self-contained bolt of inspiration for me, and I don’t want to try too hard to live up to it, you know? Who wants an unnecessary sequel after eight years? Who do I think she is, Ron Burgundy?

Would a sequel be about bimbos still?

Wakeykun

Well having her come back like Ron Burgundy is a way better option than having her come back like Derek Zoolander lmao

Brandon Booth

Would always like a squeal to one of my favorite sequences

She neeeeeeeds a sequel. I mean . . It will be at least as good as The Godfather Part III

Well, I still want a sequel to THE THING, and that was released over forty years ago.

I always pictured it as a semi-debimbofied Maggie tracking down Katherine. She’s mostly figured out how to manipulate the sweaters’ effects, but it still takes effort (and salesmanship) to keep from going full bimbo. Not sure how to keep all that in the strip format of the original.

Hot take: Sofia Coppola’s acting was not the worst part about Godfather III. Nobody was good in Godfather III.

It had ten good moments that now live on in meme form and thus no one need ever watch the whole thing ever again
