Cadence Chipmunk (Patreon)

Here’s a commission that came together much more easily. I’ve worked with this person in the past at comic cons, where speed is the name of the game, and asking for tiny, near-insignificant fixes is a faux pas. Not that I’m (extremely) bitter, I just think it’s an interesting contrast from the unfinished piece I posted recently. If I’m doing a simple, non-sequential drawing, I should be able to knock it out in an hour or two. Not the case when I’m waiting on approval for each pen stroke.

Anyway, let’s talk about Cadence here! She’s a superhero chipmunk, similar to the Alice Acorn drawing I did for the same person last year. I’m much happier with this one, as I made the face look closer to a real chipmunk while still being adequately cartoonish. Alice (link below) just looks like Slappy Squirrel.
