You’re My Venus (complete) (Patreon)

At long last, the latest Tandy and Zan comic is complete! I started this back in March, but I’m not sure my heart was entirely in it. I want to deliver on the Monthly Mutations for you fine folks, but sometimes either the ideas don’t come, or they go beyond the scope of what I think I can accomplish in a month while sketching other stuff and also working and the hilarious joke known as “free time.” When I think of a concept like “Zan gets Tandy a Venus of Willnendorf but it’s real,” I don’t necessarily expect it to be nine pages. I don’t want to rush, and I don’t want to over-embellish either.

I hope you enjoy the finished version of You’re My Venus! Tandy and Zan are fun characters for me to draw and write. I hope the previous paragraph didn’t give the impression that this was a joyless slog. Far from it! I think the story benefited from the break I took between pages 4 & 5. And who knows? I may not make the ladies’ monthly fertility boon canon, but there’s no saying I won’t revisit this premise in the future.
