Just got back from some birthday karaoke where I opened with Ween’s Ocean Man, then operatically belted out Part of Your World (to which I futilely demanded the crowd not sing along because this was my time godamnit), then ended the night with the thematically incongruent Creeping Death by Metallica. The lyrics were not synced up properly, and I had to pull up the lyrics on my phone halfway though the second verse.

If you follow me on Twitter, you may have seen me rant about the absolute shit crowd. Look, you can like MCR, The Killers, or Hosier all you want, just not on my time you animals.

Anyway I nailed the Little Mermaid song and managed not to kill myself while 500 millennials sang along to Ludo, so all in all a successful night.
