No, I did not see Avatar in the theatre. Just getting that out of the way first, as “it’s meant to be seen on the big screen” is the first line of defense for this overstuffed, derivative bore. All movies are meant to be seen on the big screen, but that shouldn’t be the barrier for enjoyment. Why am I ranting about a ten-year-old movie? I dunno.
