A Look Back (Patreon)

I know it’s a little early for holiday cards, but now that I’m 40, I felt like posting some old work. This is a card I made back in 2000 for a fresh-faced art school graduate to send to art directors to get some freelance illustration gigs. (Oops, still have a big stack of ‘em.) They featured a holiday themed Proto-Angela and some very heavy Jhonen Vasquez influence. Mind you, this is pre-Invader Zim, so JtHM and Squee must have had a pretty big impact on me.
