But Sweater Kitty's is in a five-fingered universe! Best not to overthink it, and just have fun.

Also, I noticed your work looks more polished lately? Like, it was always awesome, but I'm seeing a lot of details in your dailies and I love it!

I want to say it's the medium I'm using, but these last few have all been in ballpoint pen. As trashy as that sounds, you can actually get decent variation out of those.

I cannot help but feel partially responsible for this :D

I'm always partially to your more sketch like work . . I think that's true for most artists and my tastes though; I cannot count how many times I've been so thrilled a series of pencil sketches only to be a bit disappointed when I see an inking/coloring job take away all of the detail and nuance that was there in the pencils; I have a nice little collection of Mike Norton originals and blue pencil layouts that are perfect examples

This is such a perfect contrast to yesterday's -- and I'm not upset by it at all! :)

Seeing Shelley in a less complete covering outfit makes me curious exactly where all her stitch lines are, and how consistent they are. Do they shift around as she gets parts replaced which require more or less work, or is she just as is, with little need for swaping?

Canonically, she has stitches on her neck, wrists, and thighs. There are also some running along the sides of her waist which unintentionally resemble a thong. If there's any shifting, it's only through inconsistencies in my drawing. Interestingly, the only times anyone has ever been concerned with Shelley's upkeep is in fanworks. There's a story where Shelley has a sewing kit to do her own sutures, and a drawing where Shelley's limbs are modular. (She's trying out some sort of hoofed leg, though she seems dubious.) Both of those are favorited on my DeviantArt page if you feel like checking them out.
