I feel like it’s necessary to do a postmortem on the Keya Ever Curious project because it was so different from the kind of stuff I normally do. Going into it I was incredibly excited about the concept and I was eager to tell a different story with a new cast of characters, and sitting here now having just finished it I’m incredibly proud of what I was able to create, but it came at a pretty high price, with my financial support here on Patreon nearly halving over the course of the project.

As I’ve said before, Keya Ever Curious was something I felt like I needed to get out of my system, and when I began work on it it was the project that I needed to do to feel creatively fulfilled, but in hindsight if I’d known how much it would cost me (literally) I probably would have scaled it back substantially. There’s such a strange mix of emotions tied to that project now; I have a ton of ideas for new chapters and characters, but I’ve come to realize that I’m way more into Keya Ever Curious than any of my followers, and if I can’t get a majority of my fans on board then it’s just not feasible to work on.

It’s been depressing to watch people leave every time I uploaded a new page of this project I was incredibly excited and proud of, and this more than likely means a second chapter is just going to have to be shelved until I can feel confident people won’t bail on me if I start it. I have tons of ideas for characters and stories in that world, but it’s just not logical to pursue it at the moment.

With all that being said, if you *did* stick around through the whole series you have my immense gratitude for actually supporting a project I was passionate about and having a lot of fun with, even if it wasn’t the exact type of content you originally followed me for. My biggest thanks to every one of you who stood by me and didn’t waver in your support, you have no idea how much I appreciate every one of you. <3

NEWS + UPDATES

So, what's next for this Patreon page? Awhile back I teased that I might do a small vore comic with Widowmaker as the headliner before my next big thing, and while I do have that all scripted, I've decided to put it aside for the moment to instead begin production on Starcross Chapter 2! That's right, it's finally happening, and it's going to be starting very soon! I've finished the cover art, the script is completely done, and the first page is fully sketched out. I'll be doing a bit of promotion for the new chapter to drum up support before I start posting it here, but you can expect the series to pick back up within the next couple weeks. I'm excited to get back to Star and Dani's story, and having finalized the script I think I can say with confidence that there's some stuff in there you guys are really going to love. I'm pretty sure Star has something going into her butt in about 75+% of the pages, so this chapter is jam packed with sexy fun.

Things will be picking up within the next week or two, so keep your eyes peeled! Oh, and as a small treat, I'll let you guys in on it first, the chapter is going to be called: "The Ins and Outs of Sarah."

Thanks for your support everyone, exciting things on the horizon!

It's a shame Keya wasn't popular. Personally, I enjoyed it. So just know that someone enjoyed your passion project. I am looking forward to Starcross chapter 2 and whatever happens in the future.

Honestly I really enjoyed the Keya comic. But I am excited to see some more of Star though. You do amazing work.

I enjoyed it too! But I can also understand if people felt that that wasn't what they wanted their hard earned money to go for. Really looking forward to more Star and Dani tho!

The project was cute and enjoyable. I think the problem was that it was such a departure from your usual content and that your usual stuff was all put on hold for it. Imo if you decide to try again, you will likely be more successful if you do two projects simultaneously, one vanilla like keya and one vore
