Leatherboy -- Song of the Siren (Patreon)

So, this took way, way longer than I expected. Like, I started on it slightly before May, and it took the entire month. Hopefully in the future I can do longer works like this, but for now this won't be a regular thing. This took almost three times the normal amount of images and renderings to do, plus I did a lot of fiddling. A LOT. And it's not done, really. I want to re-do the dialog at some point.

I've decided I'm not all that happy with the comic creator software I'm using (Comic Life 3). I like it's layout and pages and several other things but I've come to  really dislike the word bubbles and sound effect text. Compare a new comic to one from two years ago and you'll see the difference.

I switched because the previous comics creator (Comic Creator Studio) simply stopped responding. And as far as I can tell, these are the only two comic creators out there - the others are all actually full art studios. But if they have a ton of predone word balloons and ability to customize sound effect fonts I might have to try them out.

I might try a hybrid of using those, or I might branch out into making my own word bubbles and sound effects from scratch. That last sounds like it might take... somewhat longer to make a comic and I don't necessarily want that.
