Oh hey, we found Grandpa's sword! Good work! It's probably not in very good shape, but it'll do. Also there are these ice guys.

My kid is coming home from college for Thanksgiving, then running right back for the rest of the term. It's really cool to see the stuff they're studying. When I was in high school I wanted to be an animator, then I discovered it would probably mean working for someone else in quite thankless ways, and that...didn't appeal to me at all. So I ran off to the comics circus instead. It looks like things have changed a lot, a lot of wonderful animation is being made so I have hopes. We'll see what the future holds. (Whether  we like it or not.)

The house is currently a very uncomfortable place, we haven't got many places for people to sit and there's stuff everywhere because we're in the middle of cleaning up and reorganizing. We'd better get it under control before the holiday.
