Girl Genius Comic for Wednesday, June 15, 2022 (Patreon)

Yesterday was graduation day at the high school, and it didn't even rain on us! 

Everyone in our house (except the critters, they don't care) is doing a complete read-through of the One Piece manga. This is no small effort because there's a lot of it. I used to collect it, back in the mid-2000s, but I lost track of which volumes I had and didn't keep up. Now there are over 100 volumes and I'm back in the game. It's still fantastic! The levels of mad joy the main character exudes are an unfailing pick-me-up.

Anyway, the kids are all caught up, and I'm blundering along at the beginning again. I'm in no hurry, it's fun. We're told Netflix? will be doing a live-action version which seems ambitious to say the least. I don't know if I'll get a chance to watch it, but I hope it turns out to be one of those things that people think is unfilmable and then blows everyone away. I adore that kind of surprise.
