I had a Covid test today! I'm pretty sure I'm clean, but the surgeons like to make sure before they start busting out the scalpels.

I'm running around trying to get all sorts of things done before I go in for surgery since I'm not sure how great I'm going to feel afterward. I fear we may wind up with a coloring book page or two if Phil doesn't pull ahead fast with the drawings.

ANYWAY, TEA:

I grew up in a tea-drinking household, but it was very much "boiling water over tea, add milk and sugar." I lost the habit of milk and sugar after a month of traveling in China back in the '90s, it was either drink it without or don't drink it at all. I have heard that being careful with water temperature and such will give you a nicer cup of tea, but I've never had much time to pay attention to that. Now, however, I'm looking into it more. There's so much else I don't want to be eating or drinking or shouldn't be eating or drinking, and I thought upping my tea game might make cutting out other snacky things a bit easier. So I've been doing a bit of reading and experimenting.

This reading brought me to the concept of a "Tea Pet" which was new and delightful to me. So here is a picture of my new friend. He's a dragon turtle (Like Bowser!) and I love his goofy bitey face.

Okay, I'd better scuttle off and upload the page to the main site now. Take care, everyone!
