I think maybe more like breeds rather than subspecies, polar bears and grizzlys can't mate but different breeds can, like if you mate a husky dog with a dalmatiin they make viable offspring, so its like, dragon is the family, fury is the species, then breed is night and white and night-lights thanks to the end lol
