Awes Faghi Elmi

I’m just about to get snacks. Was wondering what to watch. Thanks Don. Uploaded it at the right moment 😁😂

D D

time to spark a fat blunt

Elias Larsen

YESSSISIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

XaXa

Watch fantastic beasts

KINGxRED248

Pretty sure it was just cause he was posting bottle of the barrel mcu content..not a marvel nerd vs HP nerd thing..pretty sure if he posted X-men or Moon Knight there would’ve been a lot less comments🤷🏾‍♂️

Brady Schwartz

fair sorry bout that i’ve never actually seen marvel i’m watching it through don

D D

this guy said the Mr. Beast sequel I’m crying

JammySplosha

common don W, fantastic beasts gonna go hard when you do it, great movies

Crafter2900

Not sure if you plan to continue the x-men series or not but you should check out deadpool. It's better if you watch x-men first so that certain jokes land but watching x-men isn't essential to understand deadpool overall.

Sol0

Just saw you posted this - gonna watch all now. Going to be sad at the end tho. These HP reactions have been probs the best out there,

Nicolai

fantastic beasts, they are like before harry potter time, and dumbledore youth

Jacob

Also, bellatrix’s dagger was cursed so normal healing won’t work

Krow

Think of it like D&D Wizards can't heal you need a cleric lmao

Andre Eames

Ya boy 6GOD and my bro ski 2C

Crafter2900

Harry knew that Voldamort had the wand because they share a mental connection and can see into eachothers minds remember. Also in the half blood prince when malfoy knew where Harry was on the train it was because he knocked a bag next to him which gave away his position.

That Monkey

sad that its over loved you reacting to HP. Definitely recommend doing Lord of The Rings next, if you loved this you'll be blown away by LOTR. (PS: preferably the extended cut the movies are very long, but contain so much more awesome content you'd regret skipping otherwise)

KC

LETS GOOOOO

Giant enemy Crab

Yooooooo lets go!!! Hope you watch transformers next but I'll probably watch whatever lol

CS

There’s a prequel trilogy called fantastic beasts that I would recommend

KINGxRED248

malfoy didnt sense the cloak,,harry accidently kicked a suitcase and draco saw it move and he knew harry has the cloak so he figured it out

soup

I also suggest you to watsch the pirates of the Caribbean movies at least the first 3 the last two movies aren’t bad they are still good but not even near as great as the first 3

C

The first couple of transformers are great but they fall off a bit after that, but The Boys is going to be one of your favorite shows ever man we're fr not overhyping this shit

Anonymous

I’m ready for transformers

Sol0

The reason harry lived is cus he was holding the ressurection stone when voldermort killed him

JammySplosha

Avada Kedavra is called the killing curse, but what the curse is actually doing is forcing the soul out of the body, the reason harry didnt die to the killing curse is because harry was a horcrux, so the curse removed voldemort's piece of his soul instead of harrys soul, thats why Dumbledore said harry had to die by voldemort, to remove the horcrux on him. "one cannot live while the other survives"

Anonymous

Don’t feel too bad with not recognising griphook at the start, he’s the same actor that plays professor flitwick anyway lol

JammySplosha

at the end you were talking about if they'd continue the films after this one, even if its before voldemort, well thats exactly what Fantastic Beasts is, its in the Harry Potter Universe but in the 1930's, so theres still more for you to watch

Chappers

don jurassic world series worth checking out just a suggestion tho also huge Ws on the reactions lately 🙏

Danklenan

ngl i woulda used the torture curse on voldebitch and made him beg for his life Crushing his skull into the ground then finishing him off

Jamie Groves

The riddle that Helena gives makes more sense if you have read the book, in the fifth book, order of the phoenix, you have to like walk past the room of requirement thinking what you want like 3 times and that's why Harry understood the riddle. Very poorly explained in the movie. Makes way more sense in the book.

JammySplosha

no, he dropped the stone, he only used it to summon the shades of the people he cared about

Jacob

The caretaker is a squib— magic parents but can’t do magic

Jacob

I believe the Malloy family did go to jail, but members of the order of the phoenix vouched for Draco and he wasn’t charged with anything. At least nothing too serious

Daniel Holland

Paseltongue is a language. Meaning a language you can learn to speak. Just like any other language. That’s why it worked for Ron. Doesn’t mean he can understand what he’s saying, though😂

rachel pelfrey

I will watch you watch the 20 year anniversary video! 👋 I loved it

rachel pelfrey

Also yes there are flaws in Harry Potter absolutely. And no some cannot be justified as they are purely plot driven. So I'm with you there. I still love HP anyway and it's clear you're into and engaged so it's all good

Izu

There’s a lot of flaws with the movies that’s why most people read the books afterwards, or before to kind of fill in the lost plot points and details that the movies never explained. A lot of the questions you’ve had the entire series were explained in the books.

Greyjoy

You're actually spot on with the wyvern comment in the beginning. Wyverns have 2 legs and Dragons have 4 legs, so yeah, it's technically a wyvern.

Noah Wilson

Don, Draco never wanted to do the things he did. he was brought up in a bad family. Even in the end his family realized what they ended up doing to him. thats why they left the battle at the end. Draco was obviously an a** but in the end he redeemed himself.

Sol0

Yh I don’t k how but it was summet to do with the stone I think. Tbh a lot of that movie was confusing. Like the first I saw Voldemort’s death I wondered liek what killed him Cus it seemed like Harry didn’t do anything

WAY 2

Jacob Arms

I'm sure a thousand people have said it by now but the reason McGonagall said to take all of Slytherin to the dungeons is that's where their house's common room and dorms are lmao

I want to answer your doubts one by one... It is quite true that you are missing small details but I can't blame you as there are quite a lot of small details. 1 ) The reason harry knows about voldemort having the elder wand is because of their connection. That's how he understands what the horcruxes are too. 2) How does the dwarfs in the bank not sense harry while he is invisible.... well malfoy saw that a trick with the black substance was done and he was suspicious. After he sees the luggage move by itself on the top hanger of where they were sitting. Hence malfoy knew someone was there and he probably could figure out that it was harry trying to eavesdrop on him. But because dumbledore was such a great wizard, he could sense harry while being invisible too. remember the strength of that clock which could even trick Death itself for years and years till the person decided to give the clock to his son. so that's how strong the clock was 3) Accio horcrux in the gold chamber filled with trophies in the bank is a spell to pull the horcrux from wherever it is towards the wizard's wand itself. 4) Enchanments don't work inside the chambers of the banks. It is a fact 5) why the horcurxes are not underneath the ocean.. This is addressed briefly I believe in the books, Voldemort is simply too prideful to imagine dumping parts of his soul in random places. He’s the greatest wizard in the world as far as he’s concerned so he’s more than happy to assume that his own defences will be better than anything nature could provide. 6) well into the end... all these people didn't just die for harry. it was for the great cause. without harry these people who lived this long would't probably have lived this long. And snape is one of the best characters in this movie so a bit of respect to him would be good. he looked after harry the most without anyone knowing.

Rukota

It's called the deathly hallows because that's the reason Harry was able to escape death. He had the cloak already, he found the resurrection stone because of the snitch (this is also the sorcerers stone from the first movie), and Voldemort had the elder wand (which belonged to Harry). If all 3 come together it makes one the "master of death". That's why Harry survived the killing curse from Voldemort here, and only the horcrux inside Harry was destroyed.

fangy

This movie was so emotional the first time I saw it (and still is). I grew up along with the characters and it's bittersweet to see the end, everybody with kids and the world moving forward. It was also particularly emotional for me because I named my dog after my favorite character (Severus) and he was tragically killed a couple weeks before the film released and I saw it on premiere night...

OneEyed

so funnily enough, the goblin and the teacher are the same actor

Anonymous

7) so when harrys mom put herself between voldemort and harry... voldemort went into a state of death and latched himself to harry. it could be said that harry is the 8th horcrux. well if he is one then he has to die and resurrect for the part of voldemort to die inside harry. that is why dumbledore kept saying that harry had to be killed. dumbledore planned this out completely and was hoping it was done exactly as how he planned out.

CD

YESSS I'm so glad you're watching the reunion! I was really hoping you would. It's so bittersweet rewatching this series because I always get reinvested. I cant even imagine what it would have been like to be one of these actors invested in this world for years only to have it draw to a close

Anonymous

the resurrection stone is the stone found in the golden snitch, not the philosophers stone.

Anonymous

an explanation as to how he came back to life... in the Goblet of Fire, when Voldemort came back fully, they used Harry's blood to bring him back. Which in turn, means that Harry's blood is in Voldemort. The very same blood that had his mother's protection spell. Meaning that he would never be able to kill Harry. He was also the rightful owner of all three deathly hallows at the time, which made him "The master of death". Meaning no one could kill him if he tried

Demonic

pretty sure he started dying bc they killed the snake. he was just giving it one last go

Anonymous

he can't risk the elder wand getting into the wrong hands. as harry knows he will become an auror (dark wizard catcher) and he will be in very vulnerable positions to be disarmed. he had to destroy it

Anonymous

the reason people don't see the wizards running into the wall, is actually kinda funny. it's a dig at humanity and how they never actually pay attention to their surroundings

qwrx__y

id watch the hogwarts legacy video(s) ngl

Anonymous

Many people here are trying to clarify why Harry didn't die, and yes the books make many things more clear, but one thing I'm seeing left out is that part of it has to do with the fact that Harry dropped the stone and died willingly. Like his mother, he was willing to sacrifice himself to save others and that sacrifice offers a form of protection, so Voldemort was only killing that part of himself inside Harry. And that's why Dumbledore couldn't tell Harry, otherwise it wouldn't have been a genuine sacrifice. (or something along those lines 😅.... It's been a while since I've read the books. Highly recommend the audio books 👍).

CD

Lmao this part is so funny to me because unless you've read the books I don't think the movies are very explicit about this fact.

erasuke. 月

Not taking the elderwand was good, destroying it even better. Imagine the elderwand in the hand of a bad guy...

Guram Papunashvvili

Don't quote me on this but doesn't Voldemort need to have the hocrux on hand to revive himself

gummyshadow

transformers or pirates of the caribbean?

ParsivalXP

She asked if Draco was alive and by him telling her yes she let him live

Anonymous

I’m pretty sure you can heal wounds with magic cause Snape healed Malfoy when he was bleeding out after his battle with harry. I’m guessing it’s just an advance type of magic they don’t know yet

Daniel Portillo

Malfoy’s father was severely tortured, he failed way too many times.

Michael T

Just a couple quick answers to some of your questions. My understanding is that Harry kept the Malfoy's out of jail. He knew that Draco didn't want to kill Dumbledore; but that Voldemort was threatening his life; and on the astronomy tower he said that Draco was lowering his wand. Also at Malfoy Manor he didn't turn Harry in; even though he knew that it was Harry when he was captured. Also his mother protected Harry after Voldemort tried to kill him in the forest. The book explains it a little more better I think but she asks Harry if Draco is still alive and Harry nods. She knows the only way she can get to her son is if Voldemort thinks he won and brings his troop as a victory march to the castle so she lies to his face. In a way its also a callback to the fact that Harry was saved twice by a mother's love in a way; once by his own, and again by Ms. Malfoy's for Draco. As for snapping the Elder Wand; the books discuss the wand's history a bit more detail; about how many wizards who are known to possess the wand are typically hunted by other eager wizards who desire the power of it. In the book though instead of snapping it; he uses it to repair his original wand and puts it back in Dumbledore's grave where it will eventually become ownerless.

Ane Rasmussen

please react to the 20th anniversary! and also you need to watch these two fan made movies. They are GREAT! And shows things that are mentioned in the book and not the movies. they are not that long and worth seeing!! 1: Neville Longbottom and the Black witch - by Muggle Flix 2: The House of Gaunt: Lord Voldemort Origins - by Leo Santos 3: Voldemort: Origins of the heir - by TRYANGLE FILMS 2 and 3 shows a little of the same story.

Tatum McCormick

Another way to think about it is, magic is like our science. Just cuz that have the ability to do some things doesn’t mean 1) that they’re taught everything, and 2) that they can do anything. It’s supposed to mirror human society. Not everyone is taught how to be a medic, but we have the ability to do it if we so choose to. Same with magic, there’s an infinite possibility of spells to use and their school is only 7 years long so it’s not obvious what teach. Like I believe all schools should teach kids how to do taxes and file for health insurance (especially in the states), but instead we’re taught the quadratic equation. The flaws are meant to exist in the magic realm because it is a human society technically. And no where, except for the Malfoys and other bigots, does it state that wizards are better than humans. Wizards live in a more medieval world, cuz honestly if we’re pointing out flaws, why don’t wizards make quills that don’t run out of ink?? Lol
