Don's only doing stuff that ties directly into the mcu..he did amazing spider-man for no way home, and he's doing x-men for M.o.M and Deadpool..luke cage series and Jessica jones season 1 are really good but have no crossover with the mcu whatsoever.

It's a good thing for the overall plot of the saga, but they are building towards other things/team-ups than just an avengers movie with the other shows/movies. Phase 4 originally included ant-man and secret invasion which is the end of all the necessary set-ups for phase 5-6 where we are going to start seeing everything unanswered get paid off.
