Something interesting about this episode, the water and fire bender Bolin and Varrick encountered are supposed to be scrapped designs for Korra and Mako (from what I remember, i may be thinking of someone else :P).

Yeah he does. I don't remember the full explanation but i think i remember it was the case that the scrapped design for Mako was altered and used for Wan. I need to look up the old posts to find it but god I would need to go back all the way to 2016-17 to find it :P
