So the thing with ssjb goku and vegeta showed a glimpse of it while training on beerus's planet it happens before the frieza movie so u would have to go back and watch episodes after battle of gods

From what I understand, super saiyan Blue is just Goku going super saiyan while channeling the God energy he inherited from the ritual. Cuz Beerus said in the battle of gods movie that his body adapted to the new power, and his base power is now higher because of that. So I think of it like a switch, he can kinda toggle God power and normal base power. When he's toggling his God power, if he goes super saiyan, the result is the Blue form. It's a little weird lol and anyone reading this can correct me if I'm wrong! Just how I interpreted it from the movies and episodes.

Absolutely. And the only reason he went regular golden super saiyan in the Battle of Gods when he lost God mode is because he hadn't mastered that form and, as he said, learned to achieve it himself.

Rukota is right, the initial name for super saiyan blue was "super saiyan god super saiyan" which was a mouthful even as an abbreviation (ssgss). its just the result of going god, then going super saiyan while god

Nah fam you just gotta watch most of the episodes because some are mixed cannon and filler and the early episodes show the extreme training they had to get thru in order to turn blue super saiyan god
