I think Aang unintentionally spent more time with Tenzin because he was the only other airbender to exist so must of spent a lot of time training him

I mean you can’t really call Aang a bad parent considering all of his people were killed so if you have 3 children you’d probably unintentionally spend more time with the Airbender trying to train him and teach him they’re religion and how his people were.

Understanding why and what made Aang a bad parent doesn’t change the fact that him neglecting 2 of his 3 kids still made him a pretty bad father. Especially when you consider the fact that he did things like ride Elephant Koi with Tenzin and not the other kids
