Book 1 does a good job at introducing you to how serious this show actually is. The creators did a good job realizing when they made it that the audience who watched The last airbender also grew up and deserve to be treated as such.

Korra is one of the series I absolutely adore, so I had to finally get on the patreon to get caught up with you compared to what we have on youtube right now!!! Im really glad youre enjoying it so far. I love all of the different books, and cant wait to see you react to them!!

Also book 2 while many peoples least favorite, does have some of the best world building if your into that. It expands a bit more on the politics of the new world. But I know book three gonna be your favorite, too many characters are cold with it in book 3.

The ending of this season was very rushed, but that's because LOK was supposed to be just the one season, but then Nickelodeon ordered more episodes late into production, so that's why you feel a bit of whiplash from the ending.

Hate Us Cuz They Aint Us

Tarrlock dying with his brother is honestly one of the best scenes of the series i absolutely love the moment they share. Noatak knows its coming too.

Jahsan Grigger

Don't Know if you knew but the creators said that at the end Korra was thinking about offing herself at the end and that's why Aang showed up

booger

my guess is that once she connected with her spiritual self and talked to aang, he triggered the avatar state for her for the first time, and the avatar state allowed her to control the elements again

виина

aang did same thing that he did to ozai but reverse, he returned her bending and showed/teach how it's done.

Legend of Korea just be speeding through things without explaining them like an anime version of a manga except there is no manga

Jason

It’s self explanatory for the most part. Aang can take bending. Makes sense he can perform the reverse. Connecting to the avatar state would give Korra the same ability since that’s how that works and she is literally Aang. Just in another life. It’s just bending the energy within

Jason

Yep, that was her lowest point which made her connect to her past lives

Adam Uthman

a lot of things will get explained in later episodes, in season two for example we get to see the original avatar and how the first people learned bending

Matthew MacKinnon

the reason it was rushed was because close to the end of the season, the writers were told they actually only get that one season, when originally they were told they had multiple. they basically had to rush the end and solve all the problems quickly because they were told that their story is over at the end of season 1. then once season 1 was a success, they were told they get one more, but i believe the number of eps they were told kept changing, at the end of season 2 they were told they get 2 more seasons, and i think nothing changed after that, so it kinda stabilizes a bit more at that point pacing-wise

Gastly Touch

Your thinking way too deep into this all aang did was return her bending and when she connected with her spiritual self it procted the avatar state

So noatok aka amon could find Korra under the table cause he can sense where people are hence avoiding attacks. Like toph and Lynn can see with the ground. So when his brother tarrlock put the glove on and put it over the gas tank he knew. He was crying he accepted it just before he said “your all I have left in this world” of he didn’t have his brother he had no one so he accepted it and let it happen.

How come book 2 episode 1 is still locked even though it's out on youtube?

The one thing I dont get about Bloodbenders is why they use it to control bodies and not just kill them. If they reverse the bloodstream, they just instantly die. Seems easier to do that than to push their blood with enough force to move the body
