Something that not a lot of reactors realise about the final confrontation with saitama and boros is the meaning behind it, saitama is depressed throughout the series due to being the strongest on earth and no one posing a challenge to him and now he’s had boros, second only to saitama in the entire universe, come to fight him and he still didn’t give it his all in the fight so now he knows that not only can no one on earth pose a challenge to him, but no one in the entire universe can pose a challenge to him and this deeply increases saitama’s depression and boredom leading into season 2, hence the blank stare and the sad music, finishing with the title “the strongest hero” as opposed to the first episode “the strongest man”, the writing of this series is truly phenomenal
