Let's GOOOOOO!!!! Don! The little speech at the start of the episode, Administrator was basically giving good thoughts. There's always a bigger enemy out there, and someday they'll be one that arrives which will defeat you. Bercouli smiles knowing he's in for a good fight ahead. With the Pugilists leader Iskahn being told to keep them going across the ropes regardless, you can really tell Vecta has no cares about anyone else other than achieving his goal. Even Iskahn you can see is caught between a rock and a hardplace. If they don't listen to Vecta - his eye will blow, but on the other hand, listening to him will drive his and others peoples to death. EDIT - Also, yes they can jump far, but this is 100mel (100 metres wide) the gap. They're super human but even they have some limits xD And right as the Knights come in and start chopping down people and ropes, you see Iskahn's eye start to glow red. - Showing he's thinking about ignoring his order. He just wants his people to survive so much he's willing to go against; what he's been told is a gods order. (Remember, the seal of the eye works on even Dark Territory people, not just the human side of the mountains). Yup, you've caught onto what Critter is doing. He's sending out fake Beta invites, and when enough have signed up will just give each of them access to the plain dark knight accounts where they'll just tell them to kill everyone. Yui who can't enter the Underworld - but can kinda monitor what's happening coming and going spots this "fake beta" and realises something bad is going to happen and starts calling in the other main people. If I remember correctly, the Sub Control phone is just a inbound call only, but even if it was outbound as well, who can they call? The whole operation they're doing is supposed to be secret from even the government, and the only military that knows about it - the ship that was sent to guard them, has either been bribed or taken over as well. They're pretty much on their own to survive until time has passed. Yui's motivation speech is just great. You can tell how she isn't just a program, she's a living UI (like Alice) but just built another way. Yes it'll be Japanese vs Americans... but who's to say Critter hasn't just limited his intake of players from only there ;) Yui is suggesting the accounts they're using RIGHT NOW to use in the Underworld. And now the story finally links back to the end of the first half of Season 1. Remember - Akihiko Kayaba gave Kirito "the seed" which in turn gave it to Agil to upload onto the web. This Seed was code to create as many VRMMO worlds as people wanted, BUT as they're all running off the same code, players can convert their accounts mostly to any other game. And guess what code the Underworld is based off! ;) Tadaa The problems - You cannot log out (Sound familiar) - You may lose your account you've worked days/weeks/months/years on... - There is no pain absorber. You get shot by an arrow? You feel like you've been shot by an arrow... Lastly, people don't know how it is to be a SaO survivor. Most people think they just see themselves as god players because they survived the game, and think others are weak. When in fact, it's no where near that. AMEN!
