Asuna's attachment is pretty simple, on last episode she gave her a very big impression for the words she spoke and how she did things, so Asuna wanted to spend more time with her to know her better and maybe gain the strength she needed to fight back on the real world against her mom, but as she got rejected and no one told her why so its natural she wanted to find out why, then of course she found out why and now she feels bad for her its that simple. relationships or friendships don't need to necessary be complicated things can happen really fast.

Major boss room. I can understand the attachment that Asuna developed. Some others don't understand some simple relationships, I also get that as well. Some people have really good friendships that developed over a long period of time, which I can respect. In cunclusion, everyone has different feelings when it comes to making friends.
