The Arrow is like The Flash, they both have up until like season 4-5 until it gets a bit stupid in some sorts, but if you do watch the Arrow it will make more sense when it comes to watching those crossovers and everything, The arrow is definitely a good show to watch on the side of watching The Flash, or even if you watch s1 of the Flash then watch a season of the arrow then back to the flash and so on.

You gotta watch Arrow, the show is absolute fire and has really good longevity where it doesn't feel dried out. Personally, would like if you watched The Flash and Arrow alongside, but I know you watch other content, so you should honestly go one season of The Flash, and then after, one season of Arrow, vice versa. :)

Yeah, Arrow Season 3 corresponds with the Flash Season 1 so you wouldn't have to watch an absurd amount of the arrow to know about it before the stuff that happens in the Flash. But yes, I do think that the arrow is way better in the first 3-4 seasons than the later seasons just like the Flash. Up to you for when you want to watch it but it would be cool to start watching it asap if you wanted to.

Honestly you don't have to watch the Arrow. You just need to do the crossover episodes. Watching the arrow from start will confuse you and it's a waste of time. The Arrow also isn't the only frequent crossover either, there's also Supergirl. Just Do the Flash. Definitely watch arrow lots of action which I think you’ll enjoy. If you are liking the show but not wanting to do all the seasons I recommend sticking it out until til at least season 5 (personal opinion) If you like it but aren’t interested in it lasting that long i strongly recommend at least the first 3 seasons. There is a lot of backstory in Arrow which in my opinion is actually a better story than the story 😂

If you want a criminally short DC Live Action show that's in the same universe then you should definitely check out Constantine before Arrow IMO, just because it got cancelled so you could probably burn through the entire series in a day.

If you don’t want to watch all 8 seasons of Arrow at least watch the first 2 season so that way you can get the introduction to Barry. The Flash in my opinion introduces Barry over time for those that didn’t watch Arrow and get the crash course on Barry before he got his powers.

You should watch both the flash and the arrow together. For seasons I would recommend watching through season 5. Season 5 was the last really good season and it ties into previous seasons really well. For context Arrow season 1 aired in 2012 and took place during the year 2012. Season 2 aired 2013 and in 2014 season 3 of arrow aired along side season 1 of Flash, so the current year in season 1 is 2014. If you watched through season 5 of arrow and season 3 of flash which take place the same year, 2016, then you should be good. Now I'm not recommending you stop watching flash to watch two seasons of arrow, you can if you want, I just want to provide a clear understanding of the timing of the seasons for the two shows. Don't listen to anyone that says season 4 of Flash is good, that is the season it went to shit.

Arrow is IMO far better than the flash. Mostly because "The Flash" kinda runs stale after its 4th season, there is only so much that can be done involving "Meta Humans" While Arrow is less about super powers and more about well... Watch it and find out. Another few good ones that are also in the CW DCU (CW is what aired all of these and they are all DCU) Super Girl, Legends of Tomorrrow, Arrow, The Flash and one other that starts with a C but cant remember the name of it for the life of me. They all have their moments and Way down the line they all kinda end up crossing over in a REALLY big event that takes place over all of the shows (One episode for each show so 4 episodes basically) I also believe Lucifer makes an apperance in one of them. As the show Lucifer is ALSO a DC thing.
