Though the autumn shift seems nowhere near in sight, I thought I'd take the time now to highlight some of the things we're working on for the fall.

The goal of this next season is to get all language-related map content produced. This means we will prioritize the completion of the Sprouting from Babel series of maps, which outline what is the predominant language (colour-coded by language family) of each state within a continent. Africa, Crucea, and Septentrea are already done, so now all that remains is Cisantarctica, Gandrasea, and Borealea. The latter two may need to be split into two maps due to scaling issues.

The crowning achievement after the completion of the Sprouting from Babel series would be the stitching together these continent-scale maps to create a comprehensive worldwide map of languages.

Also, F.T. Winckless and I had made a new style of video as a test case for exploring a future of producing more Altera content for YouTube. We'd been sitting on it all summer, hoping to create more videos to build up a bank to release consistently in the fall, but, as always, life's twists and turns have prevented the production of any more videos. That's okay though. We'll still be posting the video sometime in late September or early October, so stay tuned for this.

And in the backend, we are slowly inching closer to the completion of a database to sort, store, and help us with showcasing all the cool information we've collected to track the lore for Altera. If you haven't seen it yet, a much simpler beta version is already available on Frank's website.

Finally, I'm toying with the idea of relaunching a postcard campaign to thank current Patreon supporters and beckon others to support our project. I'm curious to hear how the previous postcards were received. Let me know what you think!
