Here's an interesting poll to help shape the direction of the game moving forward: how realistic should the world of the game be?

Of course, the Girlfriend will always be a mostly supernatural entity (able to improve rapidly and whatnot) - and already the world it takes place in is fairly whimsical  (already has magic potions/amulets, crazy science inventions, etc.)

Despite this, I've generally written the descriptions to indicate that girlfriend level 25+ is the strongest person in the world.  But should this be the case?  Would you like for there to be other super powerful beings?  (I've outlined a possible 'rival' feature where other girls grow in the world based on the game's day timer - giving them the possibility to even outgrow the GF if enough time is spent not exercising)

And on that note - should there be super powered beings?  Aliens and monsters?  Ancient artifacts of power to discover?

Or is that all too much - maybe what you enjoy about Life Sim is the relative normalcy of its setting?

Let me know what your thoughts are by voting in this poll and commenting!

Hi Sony, unfortunately you pledged on the 10th, which means you weren't charged for any pledges. You'll be eligible to receive the beta for the next update though if you process a pledge =)

I love huge muscle growth (as long as the subject can still move freely ^^), and impressive feats of strength, impossible for a normal human, but godhood may be too much to get this immersion feeling the game allows til now. But... If she was to reach the status of a goddess, it would be interesting to see an almost all-mighty being living an almost casual life. That balance could be tricky to find and maintain but interesting and enjoyable :)

I love the idea of goddesshood. I love unrealistic worlds as long as they are done consistently. It's all about execution when it comes to this. If you can describe these really unrealistic scenarios in a realistic way, it becomes really amazing. In fact, many of my favorite stories take ridiculous concepts such as superheros and pull them off amazingly. This can be accomplished with appropriate buildup. For instance, in a future update you could have your girlfriend work as personal trainer / beauty competition. She could become really good at her job and as her stats like beauty and such increase, she could slowly amass followers who might later become worshipers and so on. Maybe she can use them as human batteries and transfer their gains into her once she has enough devil tech. That kind of scenario would be amazing. In short, unrealistic scenarios are fine, even strongly encouraged, just make sure you do enough world building to support it. As long as there is proper world building even the most fantastical concepts won't break the realism and can contribute to the immersion. I'd strongly encourage it. For people worried about immersion, let them have an easy way of stopping once they want to. The goddess stuff can be optional endgame content. A great example of a game that allows this flexibility is the early Saints Row series. You can if you choose, have a very realistic gang, or have an unrealistic fantasy power trip. Point being, as long as you allow the player to say ignore the unrealistic stuff if they want (perhaps have it as a sort of tech tree concept), then there are really no downsides to it being a future update.
