Transparency. An interesting approach that I've MOSTLY avoided so far, because it's a pain in the ass. But it allows for more more camera angles that I otherwise tend to avoid, like this one. I've made it no secret that I have a thing for breasts pressing against the chest, and I supposed it occurred to me that this was another way to depict that.

However, it's very tricky because you can't just make whatever you want transparent and expect it to look good. Above, you'll notice that Flin and Julie's hands are clasped to the sides, giving me a large "canvas" in the form of Flin's back to work with.

Here's one of several "failed" examples while I was working on this. It's not TOO bad, but it has some issues:

I wanted to have them grabbing each other like you see here, but I was bothered by a few key details in this execution. For example, the sides of Julie's hands/wrists lose all definition because they need to be erased to see the curvature of her boobs underneath (if we can't see that curvature, what's the point of doing this 😂).

Another issue is the head. I kept going back and forth on whether or not to make Flin's head transparent so you can see Julie's kissing, and because his hair contrasts so strongly against his skin, it leads to a messy effect with the transparency. If her mouth were completely within the dark hair area, that would be fine, but it falls right along the edge which makes it harder to tell what's going on.

I also need to render multiple layers in order to do this, of course. And depending on how they're grabbing each other, I might need to render 3 or 4 layers, which can get rather annoying.

I do like the transparency, but I'm probably going to use it sparingly.
