I honestly think at least half of my posts at this point include the phrase "pain in the ass." This one's no exception, as it features a boob grab. A pain in the ass.

This kind of foreplay middle stage of going from clothed to unclothed is something I skip over all the time, but I hate skipping it. I think this stuff is really hot, but I personally find it's insanely difficult to do well. To date, I have not made an over-the-shirt boob grab that I really liked, and this image is no exception. I think I need to figure out how to draw wrinkles in cloth, and I'm just not in the mood yet.

As such, I don't have a lot of these, but my personal favorite "stripping down" shot is this one of Amy's, by quite a large margin:

It kinda bothers me how I go straight from them kissing, to this one shot, to them naked. I want more, but goddamn, there's never any guarantee I'll really do it justice. This shot is kind of a "safe shot" because Flin's hand is playing it safe just tugging at the bra. Relatively easy. But tugging at the edges of a shirt is a pain in the ass to do. You wanna see how much of a tangled mess that shirt is?

Okay, it's actually not QUITE as awful as it sometimes gets, but it took quite a while for me to transform that fucked-up shirt into something that looked okay for the camera.

And doing more than tugging at clothing, such as grabbing the breast or digging fingers into hair or pressing against each other with the clothing still on...all of it is really tough to do in a way that I love.

Anyway, the Julie shot didn't turn out how I wanted, but I was also expecting that. My approach at this point is to attempt it because that's worth it, and then to accept whatever I come up with and move on.
Because I know that once they get naked, I'm going to be extremely stubborn about everything being perfect (in a manner of speaking), so I'm just going to save that attitude for the shots that matter the most.

Besides, ignoring the boob grab, I'm actually quite pleased with the rest of it. I really like the kiss, their posing, and the way Julie's hand is going under Flin's shirt.
I'm considering adding little hearts and pink flair around their heads. I like that stuff, but it's a chunk of work that doesn't always fit.

Also, I'm sorry about the slow pacing of posts this month! The fact is, I've been chugging along pretty hard for the last two months to churn out the Amy and Kelly updates, and I...needed to slow down, so I've been taking it easy the last two weeks.

That said, I do make progress almost every day, and soon I'll be really getting into the fun teaser shots. I'll try to get at least one more good shot out before the month ends! For now, I'll throw in a recycled Julie car shot that I don't think I'm going to end up using.
