this episode is an example of one of the annoying things the dc writers do sometimes which is have things happen but to me feels like there was no build up or doesn’t make sense. now i could be wrong because it’s been years since i watched but if i remember correctly the dawson and jen break up came out of nowhere and had barely any build up. and i feel like the writers do that a lot which is annoying. like with pacey and joey even though i love them i understood their breakup and where it came from but this dawson and jen one? came out of nowhere and felt forced idk. maybe when i rewatch with you i’ll feel differently.

i was dreading this like the writers randomly ruin a perfectly good thing just so dawson can be single again. jen and dawson were so happy together.
