Yeah they were really cutting edge when they did the time jump back then. All the shows who do it now are copying the teen drama time jump that oth made so successful.

I'm glad they did the time jump because college would have been pretty much the same as hs and they weren't in the same one (well Nathan,Lucas and Haley were) so...

Okay, this episode is One Tree Hill as his high level. Honestly do you have seen any shows that has done a time jump in a perfectly and realistic way? I haven’t. I love how this is so real and accurate, this is real life. Success for some & not for some. Up & down. This is the greatest time jump every written. So happy you get to see this season and all the amazing ride that’s waiting for you. Love your reactions. ❤️

Also, the friend Brooke has to « fire » is her assistant that she likes! Brooke is just so powerful this season, they all have reached a level of grown up but she has reach a highhhh point. Let’s watch episode 2!!!

Love the Peyton and Brooke friendship. Brooke is such a great friend. Investing in Peyton's label. Wow. Also the fact that OTH might be finished by November is crazy and so awesome. I LOVE all the coming seasons. Season 2 the only season that I don't love, and season 1 is fine lol but all the rest I love!

Breyton this season is amazing. I like Lindsay as well, I just find her very cute and very pretty. I hated the scene when Haley gets harrassed by her students, I think in real life Principal Turner should have intervened and Quentin would be on expelsion notice. Imagine how he treats other fellow students if he treats a teacher like that.

I've been so excited for this, mainly for your reaction to Jamie and what happened with Nathan! The ending with Peyton and Brooke always makes me tear up. This show perfected the time-jump narrative and I'm so thankful they did!

Peyton and Brooke are finally in a really great place and I love that too. and yes if everything goes to plan OTH reactions end at the end of November (so even if not at least this year). It’s crazy but it also means a looot of OTH reactions coming your way. 🥰

Peyton is all of us , honesty we all aren’t were we thought we would be after college/High school , but it gets better. Also keep in mind everyone has there on timeline of when things will happen for them things can change in the weeks or months to come.

Season 5-8 is when Brooke truly becomes the person we knew she was underneath the superficial wall she puts around self and heart to protect herself. Brooke is my fav character in the whole series

Omg I just woke up & wasn’t expecting this!! Season 5 here we go :) A lot of fans have conflicted feelings about this season, but I love the storylines so much! Also, they did the time jump perfectly- it didn’t feel forced like some other shows because the season 4 finale honestly felt like a series finale, so the time jump made sense.

I love LOVE this season premiere....And the time jump is perfect to place our characters in a different part of their life, Nathan's arc is awesome and tragic, jamie is ma MAN! lmao

I still can't get over Nathan struggling himself up to hug his son...I's one of the most beautiful thing ever. It's incredible how much you can feel and care for these characters, more than in any other shows, and I think it's because they feel like real people, with extremely relatable problems that you can't help but empathize with.

I kind of like that they start this season with everyone not in the best place because we get to see their growth. If their lives were perfect it would be unearned for us. Even though Brooke is a successful designer she's still struggling same with Lucas even though he's published. Also Brooke being a queen and saying anorexia isn't a fashion statement. Also Jamie is just so adorable!!
